Howlong does the flowerpot last with galvanized sheet

Thesoil is kept moist for a long time, and various chemical salts suchas nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the soil will promote thecorrosion of the metal surface. The repeated digging processwill cause unnecessary wear on the surface of the zinc ironplate. The disappearance of the zinc layer will increase thecorrosion rate of the iron plate. Facts have proved that 0.5mmthick galvanized iron can last for more than 5 years.

Thereason why it can last for so many years mainly depends on thethickness of the plate and the size of the nut. The thicker theplate, the longer the corrosion penetration time, the larger the nut,and the more space required to separate from the screw hole. Ifthe screw hole is pulled violently, the speed of tearing will begreatly increased.
Thestructure formed of galvanized sheet can not withstand long-termimpact. (fortunately, the flowerpot is placed on the ground andwrapped with soil, which can absorb external impact and is as stableas stone.)
